I work in the control and autonomy group on a snake robot. I am exploring new gaits and locomotion possibilities for different configuration of the snake with both Classical and Deep RL approaches, and studying how to transfer the policy to the real snake.
I worked on DL Model Based pose estimation for the alignment of superconducting cavities and I have developed a software for Stereo Sheet of Light model reconstruction that builds the model for the 6D pose estimation
PI worked on the quadruped autonomous robot ANYmal developed at ETH, Zurich and the NASA humanoid Valkyrie. I developed a perception algorithm (Ros python package \& Matlab application) that performed localization in cluttered environments based on real time point clouds detection.
